The Thunder defeated the Pelicans 137-106 at home today, winning 7 consecutive games and giving the Pelicans a 6-game losing streak. The Thunder started the season with a 7-0 record and have yet to lose. It is worth mentioning that the Thunder also achieved a 7-0 start last season, becoming the third team in history to start with 7 wins and 0 losses for two consecutive seasons, comparable to the 1993-95 Rockets and the 63-65 Celtics.

It was the Nuggets who ended the Thunder's seven-game winning streak at the start of the season last season, and the Thunder's next opponent is the Clippers. If the Thunder can beat the Clippers, it will surpass last season's record and chase the Cavaliers' record of 15 consecutive wins at the start of last season. Last season, the Thunder finally achieved the best record in team history of 68 wins and 14 losses. They are also very strong this season, so they are expected to hit 70 wins in a single season, and even challenge the Warriors' record of 73 wins.

The Pelicans accomplished the Thunder's 7-game winning streak, but suffered a 6-game losing streak, ranking at the bottom of the league with 0 wins and 6 losses. The Pelicans suffered a net loss of 31 points today. This was their third defeat of 30+ points this season. In six games combined, they lost a total of 109 points. There are currently only two teams left in the league that have not won yet. The other team is the Nets in the Eastern Conference (0 wins and 5 losses).

With Jaywe and Holmgren continuing to be absent, the Thunder still flourished more today, with 8 players on the team scoring in double figures. Alexander has scored 20+ points in 79 consecutive games. He has not scored less than 20 points in a single game in the past year, tying the Big O's record and tied for third in history, second only to Chamberlain's 126 and 92 consecutive games.

Harten played well, playing 26 minutes, shooting 6 of 7, 2 of 3 free throws, scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, with a plus-minus of +13. Wallace played 26 minutes, making 4 of 5 shots, 3 of 4 three-pointers, 2 of 2 free throws, and scored 13 points and 5 steals.

Trey Murphy played 32 minutes, making 7 of 13 shots, 5 of 10 three-pointers, and scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Fels, the No. 7 pick, played 25 minutes, making 6 of 13 shots, 4 of 8 three-pointers, 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 turnovers. Poole's performance was poor and his end efficiency was extremely low. He played 24 minutes as a substitute and made 2 of 11 shots, 2 of 9 three-pointers, and 5 of 6 free throws. He only scored 11 points and 3 assists, with a plus-minus value of -26, the lowest in the game.
