On May 24, the NBA playoffs continued. According to the famous media TMZ, the Spurs meritorious coach Popovich fainted in the restaurant in April this year. The restaurant staff called the first aid number. Fortunately, Popovich then slowly recovered.

TMZ reported that they received a partial recording of the 911 help call related to the medical emergency last month, and further understand the health conditions faced by the legendary Spurs coach Popovich at the time. It is reported that in the audio, a man asked medical staff for help on April 15 local time and said that Popovich had just fainted in a steak restaurant in the San Antonio area.

Initially, the man was talking about "former Spurs head coach" and described it as "guest", when the situation was "no response". But later he corrected the statement, pointing out that Popovich slowly showed a "bad reaction". Fortunately, a few seconds later, the man added that Popovich began to recover slowly, and he said in the recording of the phone: "OK, he reacted now, but he fainted for a while."

TMZ said that as everyone knows, medical staff rushed to the scene and carried Popovich onto a stretcher and sent to a nearby hospital. Reports at the time said that Popovich seemed to have suffered from a minor stroke since November last year. Fortunately, Popovich recovered and he attended the press conference a few weeks later. Speaking of his health, Popovich said "it's getting better every day", but he also said that this is not enough for him because he can't continue to coach the team he loves.

According to previous reports, Popovich is still working for the Spurs and was appointed president of the team after resigning as head coach of the Spurs. Throughout his coaching career, Popovich led the Spurs to win the NBA championship five times in 1999, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014.
