Thunder star Jaylenway updated IG dynamics and forwarded the poster of Gidey's contract renewal to send congratulations to his former teammates.
According to statistics, after joining the Bulls last season, Gidey played 70 games for the team, averaging 30.2 minutes per game, scoring 14.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.2 steals, shooting percentage of 46.5%, three-point shooting percentage of 37.8%, and free throw shooting percentage of 78.1%.
Giddy was selected by the Thunder as the 6th pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. Before joining the Bulls, he played for the Thunder for three seasons, playing in a total of 210 games, and averaged 13.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.
