Brownie plans to play in the Las Vegas Summer League again this summer.

Last summer league, Brownie played in 6 games, averaging 7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 interruption per game, with a shooting percentage of 32.7% and 13% in both events. After a rookie season training, I believe that his performance in the summer league will increase significantly. In the 1-4 Timberwolves series, Brownie played the role of VIP audience almost all of the time. He only scored less than 4 minutes of playing time in two games, and all the data were zero. During the regular season, he played 27 games, averaged 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game, contributing a total of 62 points, 18 rebounds, 22 assists, 9 breaks and 3 blocks.

However, during the G League, Brownie shone brightly and was impressive, with averaging 22.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 2 interruptions per game. The shooting percentages of the two events reached 46.2% and 37.5% respectively, with the highest single game hit 39 points plus 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 interruptions.

In short, Brownie did rely on James' son's relationship to get the chance that he should have far surpassed the 55th pick in the second round, but he is really successful and has completely exceeded the expectations of the outside world, giving his old father & Lakers management a face.

Considering that Brownie is only 20 years old, the rookie can average 22+5+5 in the G League season and continue to maintain wild growth. It is very hopeful to grow into a qualified NBA rotation-level guard in the future, and even serve as a stable starter.

As the saying goes, a tiger father has no dog son.

As long as Brownie inherits a little bit of James' talent and works hard and self-disciplined enough, he can gradually gain a foothold in the NBA. His existing contract expires in 28 years, and his salary will be $1.96 million, $2.3 million and $2.49 million in the next three seasons respectively.
