Clippers coach Tyron Lu talks about Bogdan s hamstring injury: has returned to the team for treatment
2:26am, 2 September 2025【Basketball】
NBA Clippers coach Tyron Lu was interviewed by Los Angeles media and publicly responded to the focus of Clippers guard Bogdanovic who suffered a hamstring injury on behalf of the national team Serbian men's basketball team: "
Bigdanovic has returned to the United States and the Los Angeles Clippers as soon as possible. The team's medical team is actively arranging the best treatment plans for him. It doesn't look so serious. The recovery period of the first-degree hamstring strain takes about 2-3 weeks. I believe he can recover soon, but he obviously can't represent the Serbian men's basketball team to continue playing in the remaining European Championships!"
"Bigdanovic is an excellent NBA guard star. He has always been the captain of the Serbian men's basketball national team and can represent himself. The country's trip to the European Championship is an honor for players. The Clippers will not interfere with the players' decision-making power, but injury is always an accident. Bogdanovic cannot catch up with the preseason return because we need to give him enough time to recover, but it will definitely not affect the regular season game! "
"Bogdanovic is an important offensive scorer in the Clippers' second team, and is an experienced defender with a stable outside three-point shooting skills. Last season, he often played perfectly with Harden and became the surprise of the Clippers' victory. The team's Clippers' lineup is richer in the new season. We still need Bogdanovic to play healthily and continue to contribute their passion and energy!"
