Clippers plan to add veterans: Brogdon becomes a realistic goal, it won t be surprising if Smart is asked

According to Clutch Points reporter Brett Siegel, the Clippers plan to continue to supplement experienced veterans.

Brett Siegel said Brogdon is still a realistic goal. Furthermore, it wouldn't be surprising if the Clippers inquired about Smart.

Brogden played 24 games for the Wizards this season, averaging 23.5 minutes per game, and averaged 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.2 blocks per game, shooting percentage of 43.3%, three-point shooting percentage of 28.6%, and free throw shooting percentage of 88.0%.

Smart played 15 games for the Wizards this season, averaging 18.7 minutes per game, and averaged 9.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.2 blocks per game, shooting percentage of 44.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 39.2%, and free throw shooting percentage of 68.6%.

The Clippers ranked fifth in the Western Conference with a record of 50 wins and 32 losses this season. They lost to the Nuggets 3-4 and were eliminated in the playoffs.
