On June 26, the first day of the NBA draft ended, and 6 transactions occurred today. The most eye-catching thing about Chinese fans is naturally the Trail Blazers used the No. 11 pick in the first round, and then traded downward to get the Grizzlies' first round No. 16 pick to select 20-year-old star Yang Hansen from China, making him another Chinese player selected after 9 years, and is also the third first-round pick in China in China's NBA after Yao Ming and Yi Jianlian. As for the remaining transactions, the Hornets will be sent to the Suns by the Mawei deal returned by the Lakers.

1. The Spurs traded draft picks with the Pacers. The Spurs gave the 38th pick this year to exchange for the Pacers' future second-round picks and some cash, and the second-round draft pick will be held on June 27.

2. The Hornets sent the Suns to the Suns last season's center Ma Wei, who was returned by the Lakers, to exchange for this year's first round No. 29 (selected forward Liam McNeley from the University of Connecticut), and a 2029 first round pick.

3. The Trail Blazers used this year's first round No. 11 pick to select striker Koward from Washington State University, and then traded to the Grizzlies for the first round No. 16 pick (selected 20-year-old inside star Yang Hansen from China), as well as the next first round pick and 2 second round picks.

Yang Hansen's "jump-off" became the No. 16 pick in the first round of this year. He became the ninth player in Chinese basketball history to be selected in the NBA draft. He was also the third first-round pick in China in NBA after Yao Ming's No. 6 pick and Yi Jianlian's No. 6 pick, and the third first-round pick in China, as well as Zhou Qi and Wang Zhelin in 2016. After 9 years, Chinese players were selected.

Yang Hansen will join the Trail Blazers to start his NBA career, which is also an exciting future development prospect.

4. The Hawks traded this year's first round No. 13 in exchange for the Pelicans' first round No. 23 in this year and an unprotected 2026 first round draft pick (the pick with a higher pick in the New Orleans Pelicans and the Milwaukee Bucks). The Pelicans used the No. 13 draw to select Derek Quinn, an inside player from the University of Maryland, and the Hawks used the No. 23 draw to select Asa Newell from the University of Georgia.

5. The Wizards used the No. 18 pick in the first round to select the University of Florida defender Clayton, and then traded to the Jazz for the Jazz's 21 pick, the No. 43 pick in the second round, and two future second round picks. The Wizards then used the No. 21 pick to select the forward guard swingman Will Riley from the University of Illinois.

6. The Thunder selected Colorado State University forward guard swinger Nick Clifford with the 24th pick in the first round, and then traded to the Kings in exchange for a protected 2027 first-round draft pick (protected at 1-16). If the draft pick is not fulfilled, it will be converted to two second-round draft picks in 2027.

There was no big deal between big-name stars on the first day of the draft night, and the famous reporter Shams's "Don't sleep tonight" became a false shot.
