The third Youth Football League in Yuncheng City opens

This newspaper (reporter Li Hongwei) On May 10, the third Youth Football League of Yuncheng City, "Running Man, Youth" kicked off in Dongguo Sports Park, Yanhu District. Jia Aizhen, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening.

City Youth Football League is a youth football event with a wide coverage, a large number of participants, a high level of competitive skills and a great social influence in our city. This league starts in May and will last until October. The primary school group was the first to start the competition, with U8, U10 and U12 groups, attracting 191 teams and more than 2,300 football enthusiasts from all over the city to participate. 567 games will be held at the Dongguo Sports Park in Yanhu District, Xueliao Middle School in Yuncheng City, Dongkang No. 1 Middle School in Yuncheng University and the middle school affiliated to Yuncheng College. The junior and high school competitions will be held on a date.

In recent years, our city’s Youth Football League has made breakthrough progress, with the participation scale expanding year by year, from the initial 108 teams to more than 200 teams; the coverage continues to expand, from a single youth men’s football team to a men’s and women’s football team to advance together; the influence of the competition continues to increase, and the number of participants is increasing year by year. At present, our city has formed 139 football-specific schools, basically realizing the event system of "there are activities within the school, the competition at the county level, and the league at the municipal level". It has initially built a new pattern of "three-in-one" in schools, families and society to promote the development of youth football, and strive to build football events into a landmark cause of competitive sports in our city.

This league is sponsored by the Municipal Sports Bureau and Municipal Education Bureau, hosted by the Municipal Football Association and the Yanhu District Sports Development Center. The event is supported by the Sports Lottery Public Welfare Fund.
