TA: Leipzig contacts Liverpool and talks about Elliott, the other party asks for £40 million + buyback terms

Leipzig has contacted Liverpool about signing Elliott. Although it has not yet entered the deepening stage, the two sides are still in exchange.
Leipzig is one of several clubs that intend to introduce Elliott. Liverpool estimates the midfielder to be more than £40 million and requires a buyback clause, which will cost more than £50 million if the buyback right is not included.
Leipzig believes the 22-year-old can be a direct replacement for Simmons, who may leave the team before the end of the summer window.
