Freund: I hope to renew my contract with Uppa, our negotiations will not have a deadline

Hupu September 12th Bayern Munich sports director Christoph Froind recently talked about the future of the team's French central defender Dajot Upamecano and whether there is a deadline for renewal negotiations.

Froinde said: "Upamecano is an excellent player and has a good personality. He knows what he can do in Bayern Munich. I think he feels comfortable here, performs well, and has a distinct personality on and off the court. Of course, we hope he can stay with us for a long time."

According to a previous report by German media Bistro Bistro, after completing this summer's transfer mission, Bayern Munich has regarded Upamecano's contract renewal as a priority. Upamecano and Bayern Munich will expire next summer.

Froinde continued: "There is no deadline for our contract renewal negotiations. However, the transfer window is now over, and we are now going to discuss other topics, and Upamecano will play a very important role in it."

Upamecano made 38 appearances for Bayern Munich in various competitions last season, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists, and is the absolute main force of the team.
