According to talkSPORT, Eze's termination fee clause worth £68 million will expire at midnight (11:59 pm) local time in the UK.

Arsenal is aware of this and has informed Crystal Palace that they have no intention of activating the clause.

It is reported that the termination fee clause contains a fixed transfer fee of £60 million, and the rest is composed of floating clauses.

Arsenal has held talks with Eze, and the players communicate directly with sports director Andrea Belta and head coach Mikel Arteta. The England international is open to the transfer to Emirates Stadium and said personal terms will not be a problem.

Arsenal sees Eze as a midfielder (No. 10), and his ability to compete in the left winger position is seen as an additional advantage. The Gunners have now postponed their official offer to the 27-year-old as they are evaluating the team's forward needs. The team's young player Nvanelli is also competent for the middle position, while Maduaike can serve as the substitute for Bukayo Saka and switch sides.

Who is likely to leave Arsenal this summer?

They may need to complete the player transfer before Arsenal quotes Eze.

Arsenal has informed buyers including Riyadh victory that Gabriel Martinelli is not a seller.
