According to the official news of the Soviet Premier League Aberdeen on May 16, Australian 23-year-old winger Nicholas Milanovich joined the team.

Aberdeen officials said that the club had previously reached an agreement with the Australian Premier League team Western Sydney Rambler to undisclose the transfer fee, and Milanovic also signed a pre-deal with the team. The 23-year-old will officially join this summer, signing a three-year contract with the club renewal option.

This season, Milanovic played 26 A-League games for the Western Sydney Ramblers (25 regular season games + 1 playoff game), contributing 12 goals and 6 assists. Milanovic will start pre-season preparations with Aberdeen at the end of June, and he is also Aberdeen's first signing this summer.

Aberdeen coach Jimmy Triling said: "Milanovic is an exciting and promising player and we believe his future is bright. We have been following him for a while and other European clubs are interested in him, and we are glad that he has chosen to start the next phase of his career in Aberdeen.

His performance in Australia over the past 18 months has been impressive, especially in goals and assists, and he is at the top of the scorer list. He is physically good and is a left-foot right-hand side. The forward is the player we lack in our roster. His energy and creativity will add new options to the team, and we look forward to welcoming him to Aberdeen this summer."

Milanovich said: "I am very happy to join Aberdeen, a club with a long history and passionate fans, and I am eager to experience everything about Scottish football. I am eager to test my strength in a new environment and contribute to the success of the team. I can't wait to start a new career here and become part of the coach's long-term plan."
