G5 in the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-94 at home, and eliminated their opponents 4-1 in the series. The team returned to the finals after 13 years in team history. The Thunder, with an average age of only 24.2 years old, has become the youngest finals team in NBA history! Shea Gilgers Alexander, who was crowned the regular season MVP and scoring champion this season, won another award. He averaged 31.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.8 steals per game in the Western Conference Finals!
Congratulations to Thunder! Congratulations to SGA! 🎉🎉
The last time the Thunder entered the finals dates back to 2012, when the Thunder third youngster Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden reversed the San Antonio Spurs 4-2 in the Western Conference Finals. Now, the new Thunder third young master Shay Gilgers Alexander, Jaylen Williams and Chet Holmgren flew to the journey to pursue history with their predecessors. Can they win the first championship after relocating to Oklahoma City as they wish?
