The league is already discussing Mobley s replacement of Antetokounmpo! US media lists 4-for-1 plan, and the Cavaliers and Bucks achieve a win-win situation?

On May 22, according to Chris Mannix, a famous reporter from Sports Illustrated, the Cavaliers' plan to trade Bucks star Antetokounmpo with Mobley has been mentioned in negotiations with league executives and agents.

Antesco has not yet filed a deal with the Bucks, but he was reportedly open to leaving Milwaukee for the first time in his career.

Mobley will turn 24 this summer, and will be selected as the All-Star for the first time this season and will be awarded the Defensive Player of the Year. Mobley averaged 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 blocks per game this season, and his career averaged 16.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game with the Cavaliers.

Last summer, Mobley signed a five-year, $224 million contract extension with the Cavaliers. As he won the 2024-25 season Best Defensive Player Award, one clause in the contract was triggered - his rookie renewal contract salary increase from 25% to 30% in the first year of salary cap. This leads to the Cavaliers' salary expected to reach $219 million in 2025-26, surpassing the second rich line.

Previously, famous talker Bill Simmons mentioned the possibility of Mobley changing to Antetokounmpo on the show.

Simmons said: "I think if I were the Cavaliers, I would agree (Mobley exchanges for Antetokounmpo's deal). I think it's a great deal. The question the Cavaliers need to consider is whether to overreact to their performance in the playoffs? Or say: 'Garland was injured and Mobley missed Game 2. The series was out of control, but we were still strong, we won 64 regular season games.' The opposite view would be: You can have a team of Mitchell, Garland and Antetokounmpo, and if the East is less competitive, the team will immediately become the favorite to win the Eastern Conference."

This could be a win-win deal. From the Bucks' perspective, they can get an All-Star inside player who is more than 6 years younger than Antetokounmpo and successfully start the reconstruction mode. US media also listed a related 4-for-1 trading plan, specifically, the Cavaliers gave Mobley, Ocorro, Struz, the first round pick in 2031, and exchanged Antetokounmpo from the Bucks.

As the top seed in the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers lost to the Indiana Pacers 1-4 in the second round of the playoffs this year, and Mobley missed the second game due to an ankle injury. The Bucks also lost 1-4 to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs this season. To make matters worse, All-Star guard Lillard tore his left Achilles tendon in Game 4 and may miss the entire 2025-26 season. This is also the reason why many people think Antetokounmpo may apply for a deal.

The Bucks signed a three-year, $175 million contract extension with Antetokounmpo in October 2023. Antetokounmpo is a two-time MVP, one-time MVP, one-time best defensive player and nine-time All-Star. He has played for the Bucks so far.

As a superstar forward, Antetokounmpo averaged 23.9 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.2 blocks in his career. When playing for the Bucks this season, he averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks.
