Target Aesbery! Pelicans contact the Spurs to inquire about the second draw: Try to trade the top three picks up

According to reporter Sam Amico, the Pelicans have joined the list of teams contacting the Spurs for the second place. Sources said that Pelicans basketball operations president Joe Dumas has contacted San Antonio to test the conditions for upward trading.
Previously, according to Yahoo Sports reporter Kevin O'Connor, the Pelicans are exploring ways to improve the NBA draft pick, targeting Rutgers' star forward Ace Bailey.
New Orleans currently holds the No. 7 pick, but league news says they are interested in jumping into the top three picks and may reach a deal with the 76ers, which has the Tanhua lottery. O'Connor's latest mock draft envisions a deal between the Pelicans and the Sixers, with the core chip being Pele, the wing player with a high ceiling is expected to be selected at the third pick as early as possible.
According to famous reporter Michael Scotto, sources revealed that the 76ers have also discussed with the Spurs the possibility of a deal to get the latter's second pick. The 76ers have recently tried out several popular rookies with high picks, including VJ Edgecom and Ace Bailey.
