Shams: Kumingga s camp proposes an enhanced qualification offer + give up the veto power, and the Warriors refuse

September 15th Shams wrote an article today about the negotiation deadlock between the Warriors and Kumingga, which said that the Warriors rejected the enhanced qualification offer proposed by Kumingga's camp.
" Sources said one of the latest proposals occurred last week: a one-year contract, amount negotiable, described as an enhanced version of the qualification quote, providing Kuminga with a salary increase (from a $8 million basis) and gaining full free agent status next summer, while eliminating the inherent trade veto and allowing the Warriors to use him as a contract expiration before the trade deadline (to make a trade). It is a transitional agreement that gives both parties the opportunity to look at another year, but at the same time provides a much more trade-friendly salary figure than the qualification quote. This is with Brooklyn The Nets proposed a similar concept to Cameron Thomas.
(Previously, Shams reported that the Nets had provided Thomas with $9.5 million in one year and $1.5 million in bonuses, but they needed to give up the veto of the deal, which was rejected by Thomas, who eventually signed a one-year and 6 million standard qualification quotation contract.)
Sources said that Dunleavy rejected the proposal, and it was obviously Lacob's objection to this inflationary one-year offer, because it would put the Warriors at the huge risk of losing Kumingga in vain next summer."
