SGA: The goal this season is to defend the title, it would be awful if the championship is lost

Thunder guard Alexander talked about his goals for the season at today's media day, revealing that the team's goal is to defend the title.

SGA said: "If you lose the championship in 2026, it would be awful. This (defending) is our new focus and our new goal."

Talking about the new NBA All-Star Games game, the United States vs. World Team, he said: "It might be interesting... My opinion is that they (NBA) want to make the players compete more fiercely, but I'm not sure if the game system is the reason why the players don't compete. People who play are all adults, and they will compete if they want to compete."

Talking about Jewey's injury-fighting in the playoffs: "Dub (Williams) is a fighter. He just does what he can, he's been like all year. He's been like a Swiss Army knife, omnipotent. When we don't have big men, he plays the 5th. When he gets injured his wrist, he scores 40 points in the finals - he's a contender in his bones, and when that spirit is inspired, it's dominant, and because of that, he's a winner."
