NBA free market summary: JJJ 240 million in 5 years, Rockets sign Smith

Grizzlies are expected to re-sign with a maximum salary of US$240 million in five years and renew their contract with Jaren Jackson Jr. in advance, with the last year of the 2029-30 season being the player option. In addition, he changed his jersey number from No. 13 to No. 8.
