Jokic 12+9+6 Nuggets narrowly beat Clippers in preseason, Leonard scored 17 points, Harden had 11 assists

The Clippers lost to the Nuggets 94-102 in the preseason.

Leonard stole Gordon's counterattack and dunked, Collins and Zubac also scored consecutively, and the Clippers quickly took the lead. Jokic worked hard inside, then assisted Braun and Gordon to hit three-pointers in succession, and the Nuggets went ahead 17-16. Lopez broke out in the last 3 minutes, scoring 11 points alone, helping the Clippers regain the lead 32-31 in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Watson and Valanciunas scored consecutively, Jokic made a mid-range shot, and the Nuggets led by 6 points. Leonard broke out, scoring 17 points at halftime, and the Clippers took a 5-point lead. Gordon hit a three-pointer at the buzzer, and the Nuggets caught up to 59-61 at halftime. Gordon also contributed 16 points in the first half.

In the third quarter, three-pointers from Cameron Johnson and Braun helped the Nuggets take the lead. The score between the two sides was stalemate, with the Nuggets leading 76-75 into the final quarter. In the fourth quarter, Strawser scored three consecutive points, Jordan Miller responded, and the two teams tied at 82. Cam Christie stole and dunked, and the Clippers led by 2 points. At the critical moment, the Nuggets' Curtis Jones scored three three-pointers in a row and scored 11 points. In the last minute or so, the Nuggets regained the lead 98-94 and finally defeated their opponent.

Gordon had 18 points and 7 rebounds, Jokic had 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, Cameron Johnson had 8 points and 3 steals, Braun had 11 points and 3 assists, Murray had 7 points and 3 assists, Watson had 9 points, and Valanciunas had 10 points, 9 rebounds, 4 turnovers and 5 fouls in 18 minutes. Curtis Jones scored 11 points.

Leonard had 17 points and 2 steals, Zubac had 11 points, 10 rebounds and 2 steals, Harden had 5 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals, and Lopez had 15 points and 3 blocks. Jones had 12 points, Collins had 9 points, and Paul had 2 points and 2 assists.
