May 16th, today, Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired in the sixth episode of the second season, with James and home guest Nash talking about many topics.

Speaking of the importance of the game mentality, James said: "I think the most important thing in my early years was the kind of mentality that I didn't want to let others down, and I had to overcome it. You don't know how to deal with that emotion, and it feels like, 'Oh, damn, if I missed this ball, I would let a lot of people down.' Or, 'If I didn't play well this round, I would let too many people down.' I think once I got out of that mentality—that took me years.

"Even when I was in the finals for the second time, it was my first year at the Heat, and I wanted to win too much, but at the same time I had that fear of disappointing too many people. If I fail to win the championship, I will disappoint too many people. I was not thinking about the length of training and hard work I put into my skills, that was supposed to be my idea, and I was thinking more about, ‘Oh, if I make a mistake, I’ll let them down. If I messed up on the field, I would let him down. ’ Instead of just thinking, ‘Who cares so much? They don't care. ’You came to this position because of those, if you make a mistake, then that’s it. ”
