Green talks about James absence: The old guy is slumped in the same chair as Phil Jackson

In the whole game, Green played 28 minutes, scoring 8 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks on 3-of-6 shooting.

After the game, Green was interviewed by reporters and was asked if it was strange not to see James play.

When he’s not on the court, it feels completely different. You know, we've certainly played against Doncic a lot, and he's an incredible player. But LeBron is LeBron. Over the years when we have played against each other, you always look forward to those moments. So today feels especially weird - you know he rarely misses a game, let alone the season opener. It’s really hard to get used to not having him on the court.
