Earl Clark: We beat Kobe in training and he suddenly got angry and left training

July 11th News Recently, former NBA player Earl Clark was interviewed by NBA reporter Brandon Robinson.

Clark was a Lakers teammate with Kobe in the 2012-13 season.

What does Kobe like to lose his temper in training or competition?

Earl Clark recalled: "We competed in training every day, do you know? Devin Ebanks, Jordan Hill and others were on the White Team. They just won back-to-back NBA championships, but we didn't care about that, we wanted to get playing time, so we went all out! Of course, Kobe would go all out every time he trained, but some players would be lazy when they were tired. Once we won a few games in the training game, we started talking trash. Kobe suddenly broke out, he finished training, overturned the table and told his teammates: ‘We have to cheer up! We can’t get better if this goes on!’ And then he goes. This happened a lot of times, he would burst out suddenly, overturn the table, and leave, and the training ends. One thing people misunderstood Kobe is that I have never seen him be particularly mean to his teammates or belittle them. What he doesn’t like is weak people. If you don’t do your job well, you back off when he criticizes you, he won’t trust you in the game. He wants to see who is the real tough guy, so that when he needs to win and fight, he knows who can rely on. ”
