The free kick master who won the Serie A Golden Boot three times, but the Italian team has a difficult ambition and is still very close to the giants

At the request of my friends, let’s talk about Signori, this free kick master who won the Serie A Golden Boot three times.
Giuseppe Signori was born on February 17, 1968 in the town of Alzano Lombardo, Italy. Although he had a brilliant resume, he was not at all prominent in his youth, he was short and thin, and had no advantage in speed.
The reason why he embarked on the road of football was purely from the heart. In order to pursue his football dream, he joined Inter Milan's youth training camp at the age of 14. Even though he was not outstanding among his players of the same age, and even if the coaches were not optimistic about him at all, he still persisted for two years until Inter Milan made the decision to give up Signori, and he left.
It must be noted here that Signori was abandoned by Inter Milan. In addition to his lack of physical condition, it is also closely related to his choice of the wrong position on the field. At that time, Signori was not a forward who sieges the city, but a full-time forward who needed to undertake many defensive tasks, which undoubtedly magnified his disadvantage of not being good enough in physical condition.
Signotri is not favored by Inter Milan, but is also despised by other clubs. So much so that after leaving Inter Milan, he could only go to the fifth-level league in Italy. As for his boss, it is the unknown Lefi Club.
When you see this, some friends may think that the Lefi Club has a keen eye and realizes Signori's amazing talent. But the reality is that Lefi Club is also not optimistic about Signori. A large part of the reason why this club recruits Signori is that Signori is willing to do chores for the club and take on some chores about repairing electrical appliances...
Fortunately, Signori's willpower is strong enough. Even if everyone doesn't like him, he can still grit his teeth and persevere. As the saying goes, God rewards hard work, Signori's persistence and hard work have made great progress. His league level is also slowly improving. By 1988, 20-year-old Signori had already played in the Serie B and played for Piacenza.
Piacenza at this stage can only be regarded as a weak team in Serie B. After the 1988-89 season, Piacenza was unfortunately relegated. As for Signori's personal performance, it is not very good. After 32 league games, 5 goals were scored.
What is quite surprising is that Zeman, the then coach of Foggia, felt that Signori had a bright future. In the summer of 1989, Zeman not only recruited Signori, but also transformed him into a striker. It was under Zeman's careful training that Signori completed the most critical transformation of his personal career.
After the running-in between the 1989 and 90 seasons, the Foggia team burst into strong combat power in the next 1990 and 91 seasons and was promoted to the Serie A as the Serie B champion. As for Signori after his transformation, whether Foggia is in the Serie B or promoted to the Serie A, he can guarantee double-digit goals per season.
The stable performance for several consecutive seasons has made many clubs realize the value of Signori. In the summer of 1992, Lazio recruited Signori and entrusted the important task of the main striker. Signori's performance is also very reliable. He scored 26 league goals in his first season with Lazio, winning the Serie A Golden Boot.
And this is just the beginning. In the following 1993-94 season, Signori continued to maintain his hot form, scoring 23 league goals, and successfully defending the Serie A Golden Boot. Signori at this stage is really omnipotent. As a striker, he is not only proficient in the skills necessary for a striker to grab points, but also a free kick expert who should not be underestimated. In the 1993-94 season, Lazio scored a direct free kick and two indirect free kicks, which was amazing.
The only regret is that although Signori's three goals are closely related to free kicks, two of them were played by teammates first and Signori then shot. In the eyes of many fans and even the media, this is not a free kick hat trick, and the publicity is extremely limited. So much so that Signori's reputation in free kicks is not that loud.
Signori, who won the Serie A Golden Boot for two consecutive seasons, was selected to the Italian team's roster in the 94 World Cup, which is a foregone conclusion. However, this does not mean that Signori will be reused by the Italian team. Baggio's brightness and Saki's habit of employing people made Signori difficult to achieve his ambition in the Italian team. Not to mention being the core of the offensive, sometimes he even had to appear in the position of the wing forward...
Although the Italian team passed the hurdles and reached the finals, Signori's personal performance was really not outstanding. So much so that in the World Cup final between Italy and Brazil, this free kick expert could not even enter the starting lineup.
After the frustrated World Cup trip, Signori continued to make strong output in the Serie A. In the 1994-95 season, he scored 17 goals, ranking in the top five in the scorer list. In the 1995-96 season, he scored as many as 24 goals, winning the Serie A Golden Boot for the third time. During the period when Signori played for Lazio, the team's lineup configuration was obviously not as good as Juventus and Milan, and it was not a favorite to compete for the championship. So Lazio at this stage is not a wealthy family. This team truly transformed by inviting Eriksen in 1997 and conducting large-scale signings.
When Lazio is about to usher in a bumper harvest, Signori, the core of the team, was abandoned by Eriksen. Although Signori was strong and had no shortage of suitors, he was nearly thirty years old at that time. Milan's two heroes and giants like Juventus cannot build a team with Signori as the core..
In this context, Signori went to Sampdoria for half a season, then transferred to Bologna, and played until the summer of 2004. Then he joined Milan temporarily and participated in some friendly matches with the Ross and Blacks. Unfortunately, Signori finally has a short relationship with a wealthy family, and he has only a few days to wear Milan's battle robe.
When the 2004-05 season began, Signori went overseas to continue his football career and announced his retirement in 2008.
