This newspaper reported that on May 17, with a crisp whistle, the 2025 4th China Youth Football League Guizhou Division (Junior Middle School Age Group) and the Guizhou Provincial "Star Fire Cup" Youth Football League started at the Yungu Sports Center in Gui'an New District.

This competition is hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau and the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, and hosted by the Guizhou Provincial Football Association, Guiyang Municipal Sports Bureau, Gui'an New District Social Affairs Administration Bureau, and Machang Town People's Government. The competition lasts for 7 days, with a total of three groups: men's U13, U15 and women's U14. There are 33 teams from youth training centers, football associations, sports schools, junior high schools, clubs and youth training institutions in all cities and prefectures across the province, with a total of more than 700 young players participating.

In the first day's game, the Guizhou South Youth Training Center in the men's U15 group staged a wonderful showdown with the Guiyang No. 17 Middle School elites. In the end, the Guiyang No. 17 Middle School elites won 2:1, and the fighting spirit of the players on both sides won applause from the audience outside the court.

In order to ensure that the competition is carried out in a fair and orderly manner, the competition is divided into two stages: group stage and cross-qualifying match. The group stage adopts a single round-robin system within the group, and the cross-qualifying competition adopts a single-game elimination system. In the end, the top eight in each group will be won, and trophys and medals will be awarded to the teams that have won the top three in each group. In addition, the event will also be selected as the "Sports Ethics and Style Award", "Outstanding Referee" and "Outstanding Coach".
