You avoided the German media for two years. Today you would say that your PR job is not ideal, and is that one of the reasons why Harvey Simmons’ image is distorted?

When we excelled in the first and early seasons of the second season, I received numerous interview requests. I thought to myself: The competition and our performance are self-evident, so why do you want to talk to me about Harvey and these achievements?

When grades and performance are not good, I prefer to focus on training and performance rather than being interviewed. I want to improve myself and help the team. During that time, I was very focused and tried to force success. Yes, maybe I should have let the public know what I thought and what we were in at the time.

How do you think of recent reports about Harvey Simmons’ personal efforts and star-like attitude?

Some reports are news to me, while others do not reflect the facts at all. This kind of stabbing in the back is not fair, but maybe that's part of the business.

I don't know. Because of this, Marco Roze's opinion and evaluation of me are more important to me. He knows me very well and is able to assess my level as a person and as a football player.

Tottenham, not Club World Cup champion Chelsea. Harvey, is everything you did right?

Yes, I'm very happy to be a Tottenham Hotspur player. Since childhood, playing football in the Premier League has been my dream. The vision of the club, the grand stadium, the enthusiastic fans, the high-level team, the head coach – it was a great environment. I want to get used to my new home as soon as possible and prove why Tottenham signed me.

Are Bayern and Max Eber interested in you too? There are always various discussions in the football circle, but I don’t want to name it. Max is one of the ones who brought me to RB Leipzig and I will always be grateful for him. The most important thing is to find a place that can develop and show my style of playing football.

This is what Tottenham is about. My first impression of this club was very good; I felt their energy and ambitions when I was introduced to the fans. People have high expectations for the team and me. I look forward to fighting the best players in the world.

How do you want Leipzig and fans to remember you?

I hope everyone remembers that I proudly wore Leipzig's jersey and rushed up to fight for Bayern regardless of the risks. Someone advised me not to play that game because there is a risk of injury and the possibility of a transfer failure. But this is impossible for me. I am grateful for the two years at RB Leipzig and for the love and support of those who support me and the team.

Havi, what would you miss in Leipzig?

I love the tranquility and the view of Lake Cospden from my apartment. Of course, I will also miss the fans and atmosphere of Red Bull Arena.
