Semenho can be acquired for 60 million, can Liverpool resist it?

1. About Semenho.

We just talked about the scandal between Liverpool and Semenho yesterday. This morning, famous journalist David Ornstein broke the news:

--The amount of the release clause in Semenho's contract is 65 million pounds;

--It needs to be activated within a certain period of time in the winter window next January to be effective;

--The amount of the release clause in next year's summer window will be lower.

Sky Sports further added:

--The fixed amount of the 65 million release clause is 60 million pounds, and the other 5 million pounds can be paid with additional terms.

--Semenho's former club Bristol City has a 20% share of the second transfer. They sold Semenho to Bournemouth for 10 million pounds in January 2023. If Bournemouth sells, 20% of the profit will belong to them.

--Teams such as Manchester United and Tottenham were interested in acquiring Semenho this summer, but the latter signed a new contract with Bournemouth in July that expires in 2030, and a termination clause was included in the contract.

The BBC stated that this clause needs to be activated within the first two weeks of the winter window in January next year to give Bournemouth time to buy a replacement for Semenho.

[Editor's Note]

Semenho can be acquired for a minimum of 60 million pounds. Can Liverpool resist this temptation? If Liverpool's original plan is to consider acquiring Semenho next summer, will Liverpool be forced to enter the game early if other teams initiate acquisitions in the winter window?

And I still stick to yesterday’s point of view: Liverpool buys Semenho in the winter window? Slott must be the first to say NO!

I will also continue to put yesterday’s vote here to see if everyone’s choices will change.

2. Wirtz had two assists for the German team. Uncle Zha watched the game and applauded him.

After Wirtz joined Liverpool, Uncle Zha expressed his support for Wirtz many times. He once said, "Whoever talks nonsense about Wirtz will definitely eat his words." I believe that Wirtz will definitely shine in Liverpool, and I also hope that Liverpool teammates can better seize the opportunity and let the media stop hyping "0 goals and 0 assists" all the time.

3. The following Liverpool players’ national teams have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup:

In the above list, there is still a lot of suspense about whether Curtis Jones can be selected for the England team’s World Cup roster. There are currently three generations of talents in the English midfield, old, middle and young (old captain Henderson is also hopeful), and Jones’s advantage is that he can play multiple positions.

For the right back position, former Liverpool center back Kunsa and current Real Madrid player Trent Alexander-Arnold are competing for the right back substitute position (the first choice is Reece James), and Kunsa's advantage is that he can also play as a central defender. England coach Tuchel revealed that in the competition between the two, Kunsa, who just made his debut for the England team and became the 1,297th player to play for England, is slightly ahead.

Regarding the attitude of Liverpool players in participating in the World Cup, first of all, it is a big dream for the players to represent their motherland in the World Cup. It would be a good thing if they can participate. If unfortunately they are not shortlisted, it will actually be a good thing for Liverpool, so that they can have a better rest next summer, which will help them to be in better shape for Liverpool next season.
