Post: Manchester United leads Saints 16-year-old central defender Harley James, may have to pay 1 million pounds

May 28th, the Daily Mail reported that Manchester United keeps a close eye on Southampton's young central defender Harley James, and may sign the young player with £1 million in compensation.
It is reported that several Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have been following 16-year-old Harley James, but Manchester United is expected to win the battle with the influence of technical director Wilcox, who previously served in the Saints.
Previously, Manchester United signed Arsenal youth center back Haven for 1.5 million pounds in January, and Haven made his first-team debut for the Gunners, while Harley James has only played two games in the Southampton U18 Premier League.
