According to the charter of the ITTF, the ITTF will hold another ITTF Congress no later than November 2025 to elect a new ITTF executive committee member.

In addition, the meeting voted to select the venue for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships from 2027 to 2029.

According to the voting results, Astana, Kazakhstan, won the right to host the 2027 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships; Fukuoka, Japan, won the right to host the 2028 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, won the right to host the 2029 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships.
