June 26 The Telegraph reported that Tottenham is suing Ratcliff's Inex, claiming more than £11.1 million.

In the complaint, Tottenham accused Ratcliffe's company of breach of contract in a five-year contract signed in 2022 that required Tottenham to promote Inex Grenadier as their "official four-wheel drive partner" with a minimum amount of £17.5 million. The

club claimed that the company failed to make more than £5 million in annual installments on December 1 last year and also failed to make nearly £500,000 related to inflation on August 16. As a result, Tottenham terminated the contract on March 11 and demanded compensation of at least £5.275,974, as the contract has been underperformed for more than two years. The complaint details the terms of the contract that Tottenham claimed, including annual payments of £2.125 million in the first year, increased to £4.6 million by the fifth year, all payments included VAT and adjusted for inflation, and Tottenham also demanded interest and other relief measures as the court deemed appropriate. An Inelis spokesman said: "Inelis Automobile has been a partner of Tottenham since 2022, expanding its cooperation agreement with the club since 2020. We have the contractual right to terminate our partnership and exercise this right in December 2024." Inelis has interrupted cooperation with several organizations in recent months, including sailing teams and rugby teams. Earlier this year, the New Zealand Rugby Association also filed a lawsuit against Inex over a contract breach, although an agreement was later reached.

Since Ratcliffe acquired Manchester United's stake in 2023, Manchester United has taken major financial measures, including raising fares and laying off hundreds of employees.
