Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton said that if Enzo Maresca instructs players to attack from the backcourt in the game against Newcastle United, he is "inducing trouble."

Chelsea will head to St James Park Stadium for an important Premier League match at 12 noon on Sunday, which has a significant impact on the Champions League battle.

Blues narrowly beat their opponents 2-1 in October at Stamford Bridge Stadium, which was strong at the beginning of the season, but fell from a potential title contender to a position in the European spot.

The competition in the first half of the Premier League is very fierce, and the five seats in the European top league are yet to be competed for.

Newcastle's recovery in form coincides with Chelsea's decline, with Eddie Howe's team currently ranks fourth in the standings, the same as Sunday's away team's points and goal difference.

The Magpies are the favorites to win the championship at home, and as long as they win, they can almost ensure that they enter the top five. Chris Sutton believes that the key to the victory may be to put high pressure on Chelsea and punish them for trying to launch an attack from the backcourt.

Suton wrote on BBC Sports: "It's great to see the two teams face each other head-on in this top five."

"Chelsea has achieved excellent results against Liverpool on Sunday, so they may be in better form.

" Enzo Maresca's side has won the last three league games, so they are confident in this game, but it will be difficult for them to continue the momentum.

"We know that Maresca is very persistent in starting the offense from the backcourt, but doing this against Newcastle is like asking for trouble.

"The Magpies will put a lot of pressure on them because that's what they did to other teams at St. James Park.

"Newcastle United's midfield defense is very strong, which may be the key to the game's victory or defeat, and of course Alexander Isaac is also a threat.

"If Cole Palmer, Nicholas Jackson and Noni Maduk perform well, Chelsea can win the game, the first thing that comes to mind is that there will be many goals in this game.

However, considering that it is important, I may be more cautious. I think BBC readers will think the draw, but I dare say Newcastle will win.
