Juventus sold Fla to chase Hoylund, hoping to keep Vega, Kelly s buyout clause has been activated

The Turin Sports reported that Juventus is eager to retain Portuguese defender Renato Vega, and they now have two potential plans for negotiations with Chelsea. The
Zebras introduced the 21-year-old Vega in January on pure loan form to replace Brazilian defender Bremer, who has been absent from cruciate ligament surgery since October.
Due to the injury crisis, the Portuguese defender was immediately put into the starting lineup by Thiago Mota, while Tudor believed that he was the ultimate centre-back at the core of the three-man defense and admired his passing ability in the backcourt.
Despite some expected lapses on the backline, Vega has largely impressed, so sports director Gene Toli is eager to find a way to keep him in Torino next season.
According to the Torino Sports News, Juventus now has two possible solutions to ensure Vega continues to play next season. First, we reached a final agreement with Chelsea to buy out Vega forever. However, it remains a difficult task as the Blues are reluctant to sell the player, considered the star of tomorrow.
Although Vega was unable to get enough playing time in the first six months at Stamford Bridge, the Portuguese international has been highly praised by coach Maresca and the coaching staff, and he may play a major role in the Blues next season. Therefore, Chelsea may require Juventus to pay a considerable transfer fee.
Therefore, this Turin local sports daily proposed another route: Juventus may not sign Vega in a permanent transfer, but instead attempt to reach a new loan agreement and may have the option to buy or an obligation to buy out clause at the end of next season.
While this agreement will also include considerable transfer fees, it will at least allow the Turin giants to share or delay transaction costs until the 2026/27 season budget.
The Turin Sports reported that Juventus has already sold Tosan Vlahovic for 40 million euros, but they are willing to lower the Serbian's asking price in negotiations with Manchester United for Danish striker Hoylund. The
Zebras will reshape their forward line this summer, with their leading forward Vlahovic not willing to extend his contract until after 2026, while Kloe Muani only loaned from Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season, and is not even sure whether the French striker will stay in the Turin giants for the club World Cup.
In April, transfer expert Mateo Moreto revealed that Juventus had begun negotiations with Hoylund. According to the latest news from Turin Sports, negotiations between the Zebra Legion and player representatives are in progress.
However, Juventus needs to obtain funds through the sale of Vlahovic to sign a new center on the offensive end. The Serbian international is reportedly able to transfer to leave the team at a price of about 40 million euros. Juventus is even willing to lower the striker’s asking price because they know most of his contract costs have been amortized.
Douglas Luis is also a player Juventus hopes to sell this summer, because the Brazilian midfielder has difficulty adapting to Serie A and has recently complained that he has no playing time.
Hoylund played for Atlanta, scoring 10 goals in his first and only season with Bergamo before moving to Manchester United for more than €75 million. The Danish international has made 47 appearances in various competitions this season and scored 9 goals and assisted 4 times. His contract with the Red Devils will expire in 2028.
Italian media has been rumored in the past two months that Antonio Conte may return to Juventus to coach this summer, with two former Zebra players Zambrota and Daniel Fonseca sharing their views on the Italian coach's return to their former club.
Conte has played and coached at Juventus, and has won many trophies, including leading the team to win the Serie A championship for three consecutive years from 2012 to 2015. The Italian coach also led Inter Milan to win the Serie A title and won the Premier League title at Chelsea.
Conte was hired by Naples last summer and signed a three-year contract. They performed strongly this season and are currently leading Inter Milan in the standings with three points.
On the other hand, Juventus hired Mota in the 2025-26 season, but the latter was dismissed after only 9 months of coaching. The new coach Tudor's contract lasted until the end of this season, but Italian media claimed that Conte may become Juventus' head coach again next season.
When talking about the rumors that Conte might return to Allianz arena, two former Juventus players Daniel Fonseca and Zanbrotta shared their views with the Milan Sports Daily.
Uruguayan striker Fonseca, who followed Juventus to win the Serie A championship in 1998, said: "They (Conte and Tudor) are both my former teammates, don't let me argue about them! Tudor won the opportunity, but Antonio is world-class, and I'm not the first to say that."
Zambrota, who also worked with Conte and Tudor, also claimed Conte was "top coach", but he reminded Juventus: "We have to see how and whether he will leave Napoli. If Tudor can qualify for the Champions League, the team will be in the Club World Cup. Exciting, he should have the opportunity to lead Juventus from the beginning of the season. Not to mention the economic side, Tudor's cost is definitely lower than other coaches."
Zanbrota continued: "Tudor has done a lot of work in power, and when he was a guest against Roma, the team has a different and more aggressive attitude, and Juventus is playing with his heart."
Zanbrota, a 2006 Italian World Cup champion, spent seven years at Juventus, scored 10 goals 296 appearances, winning two Serie A titles, and the other two were cancelled after the phone gate incident. Several Italian media confirmed that Juventus has automatically triggered the buyout clause in Lloyd Kelly's loan contract and will buy out the England defender from Newcastle.
Kelly joined the Zebras on loan from the Magpies in January this year. Previously, Italian media believed that if Juventus qualifies for the Champions League, it would have to buy out the 26-year-old England defender.
But according to the Turin Sports Daily and the football market website, after 13 appearances for Juventus, Kelly has reached the minimum number of appearances required to transfer to the Turin giants for a permanent transfer.
Juventus has previously paid a €3 million rental fee, while the purchase of Kelly costs 14.5 million, plus a surcharge of 2.7 million. If certain competitive goals are met, the bonus terms may be further increased to 6.5 million.
Kelly suffered a muscle injury recently and missed the last round of away match against Bologna. He is not expected to participate in the next round of away match against Lazio. In the last two rounds, Juventus faced Udinese at home and Venice away respectively.
