Isaac posted a farewell to Newcastle and said he was always grateful! The agent retorted

Swedish striker Alexander Isaac completed his transfer from Newcastle United to Liverpool on the day the summer transfer window was closed. Since then, the 25-year-old player thanked his old club via social media, saying that he is "forever grateful" to Newcastle.

However, the transfer process was not smooth. Isaac did not participate in the Asian preseason with the team this summer, but returned to the former club Real Sociedad to train alone, which sparked speculation from the outside world. On August 19, he issued a statement publicly accusing Newcastle United of "violating the promise of letting it go" and said that "the relationship cannot continue when the promise is broken and trust is lost." This remark led to Newcastle fans' fierce criticism of him in subsequent games.

Although the two sides finally reached a transfer agreement, the main Newcastle fan organization only responded to its departure with "left clean". The outside world expects that Isaac may not be treated friendly when returning to St. James' Park Stadium in the short term.

After completing the transfer, Isaac posted a video highlight on his personal social media, and wrote: "I want to express my gratitude to my teammates, staff, especially the city of Newcastle and all the outstanding supporters, thanking us for the three unforgettable years we spent together. We wrote history together and brought the club back to its true position. From returning to the Champions League to winning the first trophy in more than 70 years, it is my honor to be part of this journey. Thank you, Newcastle."

Unlike his moderate statement, Isaac's agent and former Serbian player Frado Lemicz made a sharper comment via radio: "It is beautiful to be with you, but it is more pleasant to know that you never have to get along with some people again." During the transfer storm, Newcastle's attitude towards Isaac was different. Defenders Sven Botman and Anthony Gordon are seen as important supporters, both of whom bid farewell to him on social media. Botman wrote: "We have developed from teammates to rare close friends. No need to say anything, brother, I wish you all the best in the new chapter." Gordon said: "No matter what happened, fighting with you is a joy. We have the best tacit understanding on the field, and more importantly, you are a great person and noble teammate. I sincerely wish you all the best."

When Liverpool challenged Newcastle United away at the end of August, Isaac was still free of the game. If nothing unexpected happens, he will meet his old club as an opponent for the first time when Liverpool faces Newcastle at home at the end of January next year.
