Hupu October 15 News On October 14, 2025, Hupu accepted the invitation of the Bundesliga to interview Chinese player Xie Chuyun who is currently playing for Stuttgart U-19.

Hupu: Recall the first time you came on as a substitute in the UEFA Youth League - it should have been last November, when Stuttgart defeated Atalanta, and you became the third Chinese player to have a record of appearances in the UEFA Youth League. How did you feel at that time? Also, what usually goes through your mind when preparing for a game on game day?

Xie Chuyun: On match days, I will observe other players, including my opponents, to see how they warm up and adjust their status, and learn from their strengths for my own growth. During the game, I will devote myself to it and enjoy the game; after the game, I will conduct a careful review to find out where I have made progress in this game and where I still need to improve. Regarding becoming the third Chinese player to appear in the UEFA Youth League, to be honest, I didn’t know that before, and I just found out after hearing you say it. This is a big surprise and honor for me, and I hope to continue to compete at a high level.

Hupu: Many Asian players have achieved success in the Bundesliga. What do you think are the special advantages of the Bundesliga for Asian players? What attracts you to develop here for a long time and hope to continue to compete in the highest level league here?

Xie Chuyun: I think the biggest characteristic of Asian players who come to Europe is that they are all "extremely hardworking". I especially don't like the kind of players who "lose the ball but don't chase back with all their strength". I'm glad that almost all Asian players here will play hard and the German coaches will always encourage us. Even if we win the game, the coach will not give up blaming those players who are not focused and hard enough because of the result, and will give very positive feedback to the hard-working Asian players.
