Fulham official: Loan Chukwuze from AC Milan; it is reported that the buyout fee exceeds 25 million euros

Hupu September 1st Fulham officially announced that it will sign Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze on loan from AC Milan for the loan period of the 2025/26 season, and there will be an optional buyout clause. According to previous reports from Romano, the buyout fee exceeded 25 million euros.

26-year-old Chukwuze will wear the No. 19 jersey and become the team's Nigerian international along with Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.

He joins on loan on season and comes with a buyout option, and we're very excited about his arrival!"

Chukwuze is a left-footed winger who is good at one-on-one breakthroughs, mainly on the right, but also has experience in playing on both wings.

He came from the Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria. He joined the European club Villarreal in 2017. He made his professional debut in the UEFA Europa League against Spartak Moscow in October 2018, and scored his first goal in the Copa del Rey the next month. He then became the main force of the team, helping Villarreal win the 2021 Europa League championship and reached the Champions League semi-final the following year. During his time with the Yellow Submarines, Chukweizer made 207 appearances, contributing 37 goals and 29 assists.

With his outstanding performance, he attracted the attention of Serie A giant AC Milan and joined with a reported transfer fee of 28 million euros. The first season's runner-up in Milan League, he scored the winning goal in the Champions League vs. Newcastle. Last season, Milan reached the Italian Cup final and Chukweze came on as a substitute, but the team lost 1-0 to Bologna.

Chukwuze made 70 appearances in Milan in two years, scoring goals or assists in almost every game.

In the international arena, he made his first appearance for Nigeria at the age of 19 in 2018 and has so far won 7 goals in 46 international games.
