Hupu, August 9th, According to ESPN reporter Julien Laurens, Paris hopes to sell the main goalkeeper Donaluma.

Sources told ESPN that Paris Saint-Germain has signed a five-year contract with Lille goalkeeper Schövalier with a transfer fee of 40 million euros plus an additional 15 million euros potential bonus surcharge.

Official confirmation will be conducted in the next few hours, but 23-year-old Schövalier has passed the medical examination in Paris and will become Paris' No. 1 goalkeeper in the new season. Donnarumma, who played a key role in Paris Saint-Germain's historically-making season last year, will look for a new club this summer.

Sources said Paris Saint-Germain does not want to keep the Italian international, with two top goalkeepers in the team this season. The source added that the club is looking forward to offers from Chelsea, Manchester United or Inter Milan, all of whom have had contact with Donaruma's agent Raiola. The 26-year-old hopes to extend his contract in Paris with only one year left on the current contract, but the two sides have never reached an agreement, sources said.

Donnarumma, already one of the team's highest-paid players, with a monthly salary of 850,000 euros, wants a raise and refuses to accept the new salary structure imposed by club sports director Louis Campos over the past two years: a lower salary base, which is very motivating for individual and collective performance.

Donnarumma was one of the heroes of Paris Saint-Germain's championship last season, making key saves against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal, helping the club win the first Champions League title. However, head coach Louis Enrique wants a goalkeeper with better long passes and more comfortable handling of the ball under his feet, and Schalvalier is the type of goalkeeper Enrique is looking for.
