Echo: Liverpool raises Wilz s offer to 113 million pounds, pharmaceutical companies demand at least 115 million

June 7 The Liverpool Echo followed up on the latest news of the Wilz transaction, and the Red Army raised the offer to 113 million pounds, but there is still a certain gap from Leverkusen's asking price.

The £113 million offer consists of a £100 million base + £13 million performance-related additional fees, after Leverkusen insisted that the price of Werz was £126 million. As we understand, the two clubs are still negotiating and Wiltz has expressed his desire to switch to Anfield. Currently, Liverpool is unwilling to meet the full price of Leverkusen.

113 million pounds have set a record quotation given by Liverpool when they were looking to buy players, surpassing the £111 million they bought in 2023, which shows that the Premier League champion team has a firm determination in the transfer market. Liverpool's previous offer of £109 million was rejected by Leverkusen. Bundesliga teams are believed to want at least £115 million in transfer fees, and the Reds' increased offer will test Leverkusen's determination.

The parties have no doubt that the two sides will eventually reach an agreement, and as the weekend negotiations continue, personal terms will not be a problem once an agreement is reached on the transfer fee.
