Dortmund s transfer is not moving? Vatsk: I think it s a good thing to keep the lineup stable

Hupu August 10th News Dortmund seems to have no movement in the transfer market this summer. But for general manager Hans Joachim Vatsk, there is nothing to worry about.
"I'm very relieved about this because I probably know what our sports management thinks, you don't have to cater to every crazy thing, you have to stick with it," Vatsk said in an interview with Sky TV.
Vatsk also recalled the transfer window in 2024: "Last year, we completed the transfer relatively early, creating a huge excitement, but then we were hit. Now we are not as excited as we start the new season, which may be a good thing."
Vatsk also believes that it is an advantage to not much change in Dortmund's lineup. "The transfer market is booming now, with transfer experts and transfer news overwhelmingly. This statement may sound a bit outdated, but sometimes a team with low player turnover is actually pretty good, which makes me quite optimistic," the Dortmund senior executive emphasized.
However, Vatsk refused to make a prediction for the season. "I won't say anything," he commented. "In fact, the transfer window is not over yet. It's not for us, and the same is true for other clubs. Finally, we have to take a look at which clubs have increased their strength and how much they have strengthened."
