In the early morning of May 15, Bologna defeated AC Milan 1-0 in the Italian National Cup final, winning its first domestic event championship since 1974 at the Olympic Stadium.

Dan Ndoye became the hero of Bologna, scoring the only goal in the final, helping the "Red and Blue Army" defeat the powerful AC Milan in Rome, ending the 51-year waiting for the championship.

This is the first time Bologna has reached the final since 1974, and they responded to fans' expectations with a brave performance without disappointing supporters.

Although he was suppressed by AC Milan in the early stages of the game, especially goalkeeper Lukash Skrupski magically saved Sam Bekma and Luka Jovic's shots, Bologna, coached by Vincenzo Italiano, gradually regained the rhythm of the game, and at the end of the first half, the two sides exchanged blank sheets.

Shortly after the second half, when AC Milan defender made a mistake in clearing, Dan Ndoye seized the opportunity to calmly shoot, breaking through Mike Menion's ten fingers. This is the Swiss player's first goal in the Italian Cup this season, but it's enough to make history and win this precious trophy for Bologna.

On the other side, coach Sergio Concesan replaced star players such as Kyle Walker, João Felix and Santiago Jimenez to try to turn the situation around, but Bologna's defensive stability and discipline have put all efforts in AC Milan in vain. When the final whistle sounded, Bologna's players and coach Italiano were so excited that tears filled his eyes. This is not only the first major honor in his coaching career, but also ensures that Bologna qualifies for the UEFA Europa League and Italian Super Cup next season.
