150 million deals are in lingering? If Manchester United signs Cesco, Liverpool will have no hope of buying Isaac

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac's future remains unclear, and the Swedish international's next stop may depend on Manchester United's transfer operation.

Liverpool target Alexander Isaac may still be affected by his old rival Manchester United. Although Manchester United is not involved in the Isaac battle, their transfer battle with Newcastle over Benjamin Cesco could have a chain reaction to the Swedish striker.

Liverpool's first offer to Isaac has been rejected by Newcastle, who marked nearly £150 million for the team's core. Newcastle offers Slovenian international Cesco about £69.5 million (including the additional terms up to £8 million), but has not yet successfully signed the RB Leipzig star.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Liverpool currently has no plans to restart Isaac's offer. But the media also pointed out that if Newcastle signs a new striker, the situation may change.

In this way, Manchester United has a chance to disrupt the situation. If they can defeat Eddie Howe's team to sign Sesco, then Isaac will likely stay.

Latest progress shows that Manchester United and Newcastle are waiting for Sesco's decision - perhaps as early as Tuesday night. The striker is ready to move from the Bundesliga to the Premier League, but both clubs think they have a chance to sign him.

For Newcastle, this summer is quite unhappy. Anthony Ellanda joined from Nottingham Forest for £55 million, becoming their only senior outfield new player, while goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale transferred from Southampton.

But they missed other goals: French striker Hugo Ekitic chose Liverpool, Joao Pedro joined Chelsea. Not only the forward position, but also the central defender Dean Huyson switched to Real Madrid and goalkeeper James Trafford's decision to return to Manchester City have repeatedly setbacked Newcastle's signing plan.

Joan Visa is still likely to join St. James Park. Eddie Howe's team has not yet met Brentford's asking price for the Congolese international, and Visa has returned to West London to train, but there is still time for the transfer window.

"We are looking for the best players we can sign," Newcastle coach Howe said over the weekend. "No matter what the target position is, we are pursuing the best, so I think all possibilities exist. I think this is the only way we can achieve our goals - do our best, focus on quality and not on weight."

"It has been like this all the time. This is how we work and the principle of signing, and we have done well so far."

"This summer is full of challenges, and we missed a lot of goals for various reasons, but we are still actively striving to bring great players to the club - this state will continue until the transfer window is closed."
