August 24th, August last night, Arsenal officially announced the news that Eze joined the team, and also told 10 small things about Eze.

1-Practice

in Greenwich, Eze honed his ball skills on a cage court near his home. On one hand, we need to avoid the parking lot and on the other hand, we need to avoid the dog. This is where our new 10th showcases our talent.

He loved this place where he started and specially donated sneakers to his hometown. He said in an interview: "That is home. It is the place where I was raised and the place where I grew up as a man. I have seen so many things and learned so much along the way. I feel very lucky to be able to live in a place that helped shape my today."

2-Never give up

In 2006, Eze joined our training camp. He was born in a Gunners' House and has been an Arsenal fan since he was a child. This midfielder stayed in our youth training system until he was 13 years old. After playing for us for a while, he continued to play in Fulham and Millwall and tried out in Bristol City and Sunderland. Despite failing to stay successfully on any team, he always maintained his faith.

Eze: "My trust and faith in God, and the gifts you have given me, I just let these inspire and enrich me, which is important. It doesn't mean it's not difficult. It's still hard to spend those times. I remember thinking, 'Why is so difficult?' But the love for football has never, never changed."

3-League Breakthrough

Just as Eze was preparing to go to college and start his part-time job at Tesco, the Queen's Park Rangers gave him another chance in August 2016, where he finally became a professional player.

He performed well during his loan to Waicombe Rangers, scoring five goals in 20 games before becoming a regular in the QPR lineup, scoring his first goal in the team's victory over Sunderland in March 2018. He continued to grow after

, scoring 14 goals and contributing 8 assists in the 2019/20 season, which won him the QPR Player of the Year and Player of the Year Award.

4-After rising Crystal Palace performed well in the Championship, Crystal Palace spent 17 million pounds to bring him to Selhurst Park Stadium, and Eze got the opportunity to make his mark in the Premier League.

After Hodgson re-coached in 2022/23, he really got into the form and became the club's number one scorer with 10 goals.

His goals continued to increase over the next two seasons, and when he left the team, he ranked fourth in the Premier League scorer list with 34 goals.

5-Ezer and England

Ezer's performance in the Premier League attracted the attention of then England coach Southgate. His first call-up by the national team was to be selected for the 2020 European Cup England primary list, but shortly after that, he had to withdraw due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Eze waited for another two years to get the chance to be selected for the national team again, and he made his debut in the 2024 European Cup qualifiers 4-0 victory over Malta. He was also selected for the 2024 European Cup roster and made three appearances in the event. He has made 11 appearances for the national team and scored his first international goal in March against Latvia at Wembley.

6-Wembley Hero

In the next few months, he left more wonderful memories in this stadium. In the 2024/25 season, Eze was a key figure in Crystal Palace's FA Cup journey, scoring the only goal in the game in the third round to help the team narrowly beat Stockport County and scored again in the quarter-finals against Fulham.

Villa was their opponent in Wembley semi-finals. The winger opened the first with an amazing shot, and finally Crystal Palace won 3-0, reaching the FA Cup final for the third time in the history, and it was Manchester City waiting for them.

Under the famous Wembley Arch, Eze scored the only goal in the game, winning the first important trophy for their team history, and also engraved him in the history of Crystal Palace forever.

At the beginning of this month, he helped Crystal Palace defeat Liverpool, picked up the Community Shield, and added another trophy to the trophy showroom.

7-KingtoN5

Similar to another new player we have this summer, Eze is also a chess enthusiast. After receiving guidance from former teammate Olisse, Eze honed his chess skills through videos on the Internet.

His focus has won him an online amateur chess championship. He was even seen playing against British business tycoon Richard Branson this summer.

8-Give back to society

Outside the football field, Eze founded the Eze Foundation with his two brothers in 2023. Since 2023, Eze has hosted the Eze Grassroots Football Invitational at the John Ron School Playground in South London every year, where he and his brothers once played together.

Regarding his foundation, Eze: "Give back to society has always been our hearts. We want them to get in touch with football, experience what it feels like in a professional club, and there is no need to pay any fees, and there is no obstacle to stop you from playing football, which is often common when you are young or from difficult areas."

9-Wright's road

Eze is not the first player to join us from Crystal Palace, Eddie McGoldrick joined in the 1993/94 season, and club legend Ian Wright joined from Crystal Palace in 1991.

Wright transferred from Selhurst Park to Highbury, he was 27 years old, the same age as Eze, and his transfer fee set a club record at the time. He then scored 185 goals for us, which made him our all-time top scorer at the time and was not surpassed by Henry until October 2005.

Wright and Eberre are good friends, and Eze wore a vintage style of Wright's jersey during the FA Cup celebrations at Crystal Palace.

10-Celebrity Relative

Eze is not the only celebrity in the family. In 2023, it was revealed that Ego Nwodim, who has been an actor of the American comedy series "Saturday Night Live" since 2018, is Eze's cousin.

After Eze won the FA Cup, Nwodium wore a Crystal Palace jersey with Eze's name printed on the back at the end of the show.
