Bucks, Cavaliers and Lakers rumored to have discussed trade for Davis

Reporter Brett Siegel reported that according to multiple sources, the Bucks and Cavaliers are two of the Eastern Conference teams that have discussed the possible trade of Anthony Davis with the Lakers. The Lakers only tentatively raised the possibility of trading Davis at the time and still had no intention of trading him during the 2024-25 season. However, Los Angeles did seriously prepare a substantive trade plan during the offseason. Although other teams were rumored to have discussed a Davis trade with the Lakers in December 2024, these teams have not been confirmed by both parties. At least five teams have had multiple conversations since the Lakers' initial tryout to discuss Davis' situation and related details.
